he Aviation Centre engine overhaul facility is located at our Tyabb branch at Westernport Airfield on the Mornington Peninsula and is staffed by professional technicians with over 100 years of experience between them, ensuring your repair/overhaul is of the highest standard and best quality.

The Aviation Centre engine overhaul facility has been operating since 1991 and has established a reputation for its high quality engines and attention to detail.

Having successfully overhauled/repaired in excess of 1000 engines, our experienced technicians will ensure your engine requirements are met using specialised precision tooling and that your engine is in accordance with the latest A.D.’s and manufacturers instructions. Our engine overhaul facility is capable of performing the following tasks:

To assist with reducing aircraft related noise problems, we have designed and developed our own state of the art engine test cell allowing our engines to be tested quickly and more efficiently, while keeping noise to a minimum.

Sudden Stoppage Inspection

ad a prop strike? Our engine overhaul facility is able to perform the required bulk strip and inspection including the use of an approved fluorescent dye penetrant and magnetic particle facilities located in house. Using these approved methods we can ascertain the amount of damage (if any), which will allow us to give you an accurate quote on repair costs before carrying out the required repairs.
